Boosie has been known for homosexuality rants over the years. However, when asked about his daughter, Iviona Hatch, recently coming out as a lesbian, he said he disagrees with her being “gay” but will love her, regardless.
Trap music legend Boosie has been known to share his true feelings about homosexuality, but recently said he disagrees with his daughter, Iviona “Poison Ivi” Hatch, coming out as lesbian.
Boosie Still Loves His Daughter Regardless
In an interview with DJ Vlad, Boosie was asked how he felt about his 21-year-old daughter Iviona coming out as a lesbian. In January 2022, Poison Ivi shared that she has a girlfriend and confirmed it on Houston radio station 97.9 The Box.
“Her, coming out at this age,” Boosie said. “That’s when you know what you want.”
He also referenced that his family is Southern Baptist and doesn’t condone homosexuality. Boosie mentioned several of his family members, including his grandfather, who were Baptist preachers. He also said that despite the differences, he’d love his daughter, regardless.
“We’re gonna love her to death, but at the same time it’s never been accepted,” Boosie added.
Boosie also said he does not want his younger children to think that homosexuality is ok.
While he may disagree with his daughter’s sexuality, the “Set It Off” rapper did make a song, “They Diking,” glorifying the lesbian culture.
Boosie’s Past Homosexual Rants
Boosie’s previous comments and rants on the LGBTQ community involved him commenting on NBA legend Dwyane Wade’s daughter, Zaya Wade.
Boosie felt that Zaya was too young to identify as transgender, and Zaya’s stepmother, actress Gabrielle Union fired back at Boosie for commenting on her daughter.
In 2021, Boosie also ranted about rapper Lil Nas X after he joked about a collaboration with him. Rapper Azealia Banks came to Lil Nas X’s defense and called for social justice in hip-hop regarding homosexuality.
Boosie also commented about Apple releasing an emoji with a gay couple in a caption on social media. Boosie’s post read —”#PushinD,” which is a play on words, referring to Atlanta rapper Gunna’s hit, “Pushing P.”
Boosie Badazz’s Sexual “Training” Of Minors Is Probably Illegal And Disguises Hidden Homosexual Fears
In an episode of “Boosie Gone Bad,” Boosie had his then 18-year-old son examine women’s genitalia with a magnifying glass.
Reactions from users on social media included comments saying he was objectifying women and even called the act “disgusting.” Many also questioned his parenting capabilities.
