50 Cent’s Ready To Become The New Simon Cowell
Fifty went to his Instagram page to geek followers pumped about big things brewing. Without dishing out too many details, 50 confirmed he’s working on a hip-hop competition series called “Unrapped.”
“This is gonna be so cool, think Hip Hop’s American idol On ABC.🔥🚦Green Light Gang.”
According to reports, the non-scripted project is officially called “Unrapped” and will go down at major network ABC, the same place Fifty’s “For Life” series has aired. It’s also from his G-Unit Film & Television production company.
The show is hip-hop talent format where celebrity contestants, coached by iconic hip-hop mentors, go head-to-head in rap battles until a king or queen is crowned. Casting is underway. G-Unit Film & Television is producing with SFO Entertainment and Jackson will exec produce with Antonio Collier, Jon Sheinberg, Susie Ursitti Sheinberg, Gwen Osborne and Matt Feige. (Deadline)

Recently, a slight social media spat went down between Cuban and Fif’s ex-girlfriend/actress Vivica A. Fox. All of the tension appeared to go down courtesy of throwback footage showing Fox calling Fif the love of her life in a recent interview. The interview popped up into a The Shade Room post and ignited a playful – at best – reply from Link in the comments section.
