Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have announced their engagement in a joint Instagram post.
“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨,” the couple wrote, sharing photographs of Kelce proposing in a garden amidst hundreds of flowers.
The pop star and Kansas City Chiefs tight end first sparked dating rumors in July of 2023 when Travis Kelce attended the Eras Tour. After the show, he told his brother Jason Kelce that he wanted to give Swift a friendship bracelet during an episode of their New Heights podcast. That September, Swift made her first appearance at a Chiefs game and was seen leaving the venue with Kelce – by the end of the year, more appearances made it clear that the two were in a relationship.
On August 13, 2025, Taylor Swift announced her upcoming album, The Life of a Showgirl, on New Heights. Her appearance set a Guinness World Record for the most concurrent views on a podcast with over 1.3 million fans watching live.
