PREVIEW: Parklife Festival 2023

PREVIEW: Parklife Festival 2023

When: 10th – 11th June 2023
Where: Heaton Park, Manchester, England

Parklife Festival will make its grand return to Manchester this weekend – and it’s set to be one of the best yet. With over 80,000 people about to descend on Heaton Park for two days of live music, the major music festival prepares to welcome a host of acclaimed stars.

Having begun in 2010 at Platts Field Park in Rusholme, Parklife has grown massively in scale over the years and has become the largest metropolitan music festival in the UK. Over its first decade, it welcomed performances from the likes of Snoop Dogg, Foals and Liam Gallagher.

Now in its fourteenth year, the non-camping northern festival has developed a reputation for its wonderfully diverse and eclectic line-up that covers multiple music genres – including hip hop, grime, pop, rock, club, house and dance.

This year’s line-up boasts headliners The 1975 and Aitch, with the latter playing a UK festival headline exclusive. Joining them on the bill are Rudimental, The Prodigy, Fred Again, Self Esteem, Little Simz and Wu Tang Clan, to name but a few – they’ll all be performing alongside hundreds of artists and DJs. In another festival exclusive, Wu Tang Clan will be playing with Nas for the first time on stage in the UK.

It’s not just a variety of music that Parklife Festival offers, there’s also a great variety of food stalls onsite that offer a wide range of food, as well as a large number of bars selling both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. From classic burgers to elevated street food, it’s choice aplenty and there’s definitely enough to keep you going until the end of the night.
