Singer, songwriter and rapper Collard returned this week with a slick new single that includes Mixmag favorite Kojey Radical.
Titled 'Ground Control', the track is the second to be shared from Collard's forthcoming debut album and follows February's 'Warrior Cry'. His debut album is predicted to launch in April on Lost Village/Virgin EMI.
On 'Ground Control', Collard fers up a retrospective tune that merges his abilities as an progressive songwriter and certainly lyricist with Kojey's highly effective, inimitable circulate.
“'Ground Control' is a confessional, centred round a harmful time in my life the place penalties and valuing my very own security have been scarily low on my precedence checklist," says Collard on his newest a press launch. "The writing relies round one explicit evening the place all boundaries have been rid and all traces have been crossed. it’s a dive into my very own previous and a birdseye view myself at my most reckless."
Ground Control is out now. Listen to it here and keep tuned for extra information surrounding Collard's debut album. Kojey is ready to play at Hackney venue Oslo on March 27 alongside Mahalia and Celeste. Find out extra here.
