Today, Feb. 27, The National have shared that they will perform a one-night stand this coming weekend. The show is scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 4, at the Bearsville Theatre in Woodstock, N.Y., and arrives before the group’s appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
This weekend’s concert is presented by Radio Woodstock 100.1. The special evening will see the band take the stage at the intimate upstate music venue and deliver a selection of numbers plucked from their favored music catalog, beginning at 8 p.m. E.T.
Prior to the band’s appearance at Bearsville Theatre, they will guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Friday, March 3. The National’s upcoming events come after the group announced the April 28 release of their ninth studio album, First Two Pages of Frankenstein, and previewed the new collection with tracks “Tropical Morning News” and “New Order T-Shirt.”
Fan club presale for The National’s show at the Bearsville Theatre begins tomorrow, Feb. 28 at 10 a.m. local time, followed by a general ticket on-sale the same day at 2 p.m.
