Following the successful launch of Terrapin Crossroads’ Sunshine Daydream event, the folks behind the musical coming together have followed up by sharing additional details behind the second edition, slated to occur on Aug. 27, 2023, at Stanford Lake Park in Novato, Calif., by adding more players to the lineup.
In addition to already-announced guests, such as The Terrapin All-Stars, comprised of Dawes’ Taylor and Griffin Goldsmith, Lee Pardini, Trevor Menear, Grahame Lesh, Jennifer Hartswick, Natalie Cressman and James Casey, the event will also include newly added guests such as roots-Americana ensemble, San Geronimo, as well as the Incubators, and a jam headed by Mark Karan and Alex Jordan.
The newly added players will gig on the “Keep It Weird” Terrapin Bar stage. They join the already-announced lineup: Melvin Seals & JGB, Nicki Blume, Scott Law, Ross James, and regional mainstays Moonalice. Previously, the initial Sunshine Daydream event occurred at McNears Beach Park in San Rafael, Calif., on July 9, 2023. During the first-time event, Phil Lesh turned up for a special hour-long sit-in with fellow musicians, including Amy Helm, Dan “Lebo” Lebowitz, Grahame Lesh, Jason Crosby, John Molo, Stu Allen and others.
