Jorja Smith has shared the menacing ‘Price Of It All’, from the soundtrack to the upcoming show Bait – listen below.
The BRIT Award-winning singer has contributed the song to the new Amazon Prime Video, which has been written by and will star Riz Ahmed. The six episodes will drop on the streaming service on Wednesday (March 25).
Sharing the song earlier this week, Smith shared her enthusiasm for the show, saying: “I’ve already seen it and Ahhh it’s so gooooooddd!!!”
‘Price Of It All’ is a darkly menacing hint of what the tone of the show might be, with nocturnal, trip-hop beats and haunted, dramatic vocals from Smith as she sings lines such as, “I’m not afraid to die today / I could have chose somebody else to love”.

In Bait, Ahmed will play Shah Latif, an unemployed British-Pakistani actor whose life falls into disarray when he becomes a leading candidate to be the next James Bond. Over four traumatic days, his personal and professional lives begin to crumble.

Guz Khan, Nabhaan Rizwan and Rafe Spall will co-star in the show, while other artists set to appear on the soundtrack include Arooj Aftab, Jay Sean, Anish Kumar, Veyah, Origin Unknown and MC Shabba D.
As for Smith, she will be one of the co-headliners of All Points East in London’s Victoria Park this summer, alongside Tems, and you can find any remaining tickets for that event here.
In July, she will also open for Harry Styles in Mexico City as part of his ‘Together, Together’ tour, and she is also on the bill for Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Sunderland in May.
Late last year, her record label hit out at a song made using AI, and alleged that it “cloned” Smith’s voice.
Smith released her second and latest studio album, ‘Falling Or Flying’, in 2023. Last month, she returned with the song ‘Don’t Leave’ – originally recorded in 2015 – to celebrate the 10th anniversary of her debut single, ‘Blue Lights’.
