Today, the iconic Glastonbury Festival announced who will be joining them this year at Worthy Farm in Somerset, England, on June 21 through 25. The event will be headlined by England’s own Arctic Monkeys, Guns N’ Roses, the Rocket Man Elton John, along with singer, rapper, idol and flutist Lizzo.
Glastonbury Festival, the largest greenfield music and performing arts festival in the world will welcome a vast array of talent on many several stages and art installations. Along with the aforementioned top-billing acts, performers include, Alt-J, Fat Boy Slim, Fred Again.., Lana Del Rey, Lewis Capaldi, Raye, Phoenix, The War on Drugs, Thundercat, Yusuf / Cat Stevens, Chvrches, Blondie, Royal Blood and more.
In the post sharing the initial artists, the festival implied that many more acts were to come and gave some specifications on the daily lineup. “Here is the first Glastonbury Festival 2023 line-up poster, which includes our final two Pyramid Stage headliners: @arcticmonkeys (Friday) and @gunsnroses (Saturday),” the festival shared. “Many more acts and attractions still to be announced.”
The festival has remained altruistic and will support Wateraid, Greenpeace, Oxfam and more in 2023. They currently have a prize draw for tickets and experiences, with all proceeds going to Oxfam / DEC’s Turkey-Syria Earthquake appeal.
