Earl Scruggs Music Festival has delivered its artist lineup for the multi-day event at Tyron International Equestrian Center & Resort in Mill Spring, N.C. The upcoming occasion, which pays tribute to one of bluegrass’ finest, will occur on Sept. 1 through 3.

The Labor Day weekend affair will be hosted by Dobro master and 14-time Grammy winner, Jerry Douglas, who will welcome an onslaught of music industry talent. Emmylou Harris, Greensky Bluegrass, The Infamous Stringdusters and The Del McCoury Band are topping this year’s artist lineup.

Other acts scheduled to appear during the late-summer event include the host and his collaborators, The Jerry Douglas Band, as well as Michael Cleveland & Flamekeeper, Jon Stickley Trio, Twisted Pine, Della Mae, Tray Wellington Band and many more.

In addition to individual artist sets, the event welcomes the festival experience’s collaborative aspect, inviting sit-ins and unscripted musical moments between billed players.

Apart from music, Earl Scruggs Music Festival will also boast insightful speakers and discussions. Furthermore, premium accommodation will be offered on-site, and the event will provide attendees with various culinary experiences, lodging options and more.

2022 marked the first year of the Earl Scruggs Music Festival and included appearances by Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Leftover Salmon, Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway, Acoustic Syndicate and others.

As previously mentioned, the festival pulls its name from the celebrated American music legend who pioneered a unique banjo picking style, coined “Scruggs style” Earl Scruggs. Scruggs helped christen the bluegrass genre in the late ‘40s and had a profound impact on American Culture.
