The event organizers behind Gem & Jam and 4 Peaks Presents have announced the launch of a new cross-genre camping gathering titled Cascade Equinox Festival. The multi-day event will occur from Sept. 22 through 24 at the Deschutes County Fairgrounds in Redmond, Ore.
The first-time lineup boasts more than 50 acts that embody the festival’s Central Oregon location, with a diverse medley of jam, electronic, funk, soul and bluegrass artists represented. Topping the list is electro-soul pioneer Pretty Lights. In addition, Goose, Big Wild, Phantogram, Trevor Hall & The Great In-Between will also be spotlighted during the festival.
Also included on the forthcoming bill are Of The Trees, Emancipator, Fruition, Dirtwire, Opiuo, and LP Giobbi’s highly regarded Dead House set. The lineup goes on to feature Gone Gone Beyond, Manic Focus, The Main Squeeze, Polyrhythmics, Maddy O’Neal, Eggy and more.
Cascade Equinox Festival will also offer many activities and programming, including a vendor marketplace, workshops, kids zones, carnival rides, culinary commons, a healing sanctuary, yoga, beer and wine tastings, interactive art installations and live art.
The festival will include various camping options, including glamping in the Alpenglow Campground and Expo Center RV Park for RV hookups, areas for dry RVs, car camping, walk-in camping, and basic camping packages. All onsite accommodation packages, as well as off-site hotel packages, are available here.
