‘Can’t Cancel Pride’ Announces 2023 Benefit Show with Big Freedia, Brandi Carlile, Adam Lambert and More

On Thursday, June 15, prepare for the highly anticipated return of CAN’T CANCEL PRIDE as it brings an extraordinary concert experience for 2023. The star-studded lineup includes Kesha, Big Freedia, Adam Lambert, Ciara, Brandi Carlile, and many more talented artists and allies.

JoJo Siwa is set to take on the hosting duties, ensuring an evening filled with unforgettable performances, which will be livestreamed on iHeartRadio’s Facebook and YouTube platforms, commencing at 8 p.m. EST.

The one-hour show, fully titled Can’t Cancel Pride 2023 – The Future Starts Now, promises a spectacular showcase featuring influential voices from the LGBTQ+ community, as well as renowned figures in culture and entertainment, as highlighted on the organization’s official website.

Gayle Troberman, chief marketing officer for iHeartMedia, expressed the significance of the event, stating, “This year we shine a spotlight on how far we’ve come and how much more there is to do to fuel equality and inclusion in support of these important organizations making the world better for the LGBTQ+ community every day around the nation.”

The event will also honor Brandi Carlile with the prestigious 2023 Elton John Impact Award. Through her involvement with the Looking Out Foundation, Carlile has dedicated herself to humanitarian work, amplifying the power of music by providing support and resources to underrepresented organizations. The fourth annual Can’t Cancel Pride aims to acknowledge the LGBTQ+ community’s past achievements, address the pressing issues of the present, and instill hope for a brighter future, as stated in the organization’s official statement. The event serves as a platform to unite and demonstrate solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community while raising crucial funds for organizations that offer vital resources and services, such as GLAAD, SAGE, The Trevor Project, the National Black Justice Coalition, CenterLink, and Outright International.

Brent Miller, co-founder of Can’t Cancel Pride and P&G senior director for global LGBTQ, expressed his pride in the event’s impact, stating, “I’m proud that Can’t Cancel Pride has raised over $11 million dollars to help fund organizations that offer critical support, from youth services to elderly care, and to continue to partner with some of the world’s best and brightest LGBTQ+ and ally performers to support and celebrate the LGBTQ+ community.”
