Buffalo, N.Y.-based progressive jam ensemble Aqueous has announced the artist lineup for the second installment of their summer music festival, The Great Flamingle II. The two-night event will occur on August 11 and 12 at the Kissing Bridge Ski Resort in Glenwood, N.Y, and will mark the quartet’s final live performances before they embark on a touring hiatus to honor time spent with family and balance.
Top-billing acts include Boston-based jam outfit Dopapod, New York’s own rock quartet TAUK, experimental rockers Mungion and a special Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater tribute set fronted by Aqueous guitarist Mike Ganzter. Aqueous drummer Rob Houk is also slated to perform with his new band, TAND, with additional frames provided by Witty Tarbox, The Pickle Mafia, Damone Jackson’s Outcome, Cypher and Turtle Logic.
In addition to the live music, The Great Flamingle II will host a variety of vendors and visual art experiences, as well as onsite camping. In a press release, guitarist Ganzer proclaimed that “This year’s Flamingle is genuinely going to be epic, and I don’t use that term lightly! With the band opting to take a break from touring after the festival in favor of prioritizing Dave’s new role as a father, these shows will represent a joyful celebration of the band and our love for each other and our fans.”
Tickets for the impending event will be available this Friday, June 9.
