International composer and songwriter Kitt Wakeley has just released a new composition featuring Joe Satriani, “Forgive Me.” The pair had recently unveiled their first collaboration with the single “Conflicted,” topping Billboard charts the week of its release. Kitt Wakeley is set to release his new album, Symphony of Sinners and Saints, on May 21. “Forgive Me” is the third single from his upcoming album, recorded with the London Philharmonic and London Voices at Abbey Road Studios.
“Forgive Me” incorporate all of Kitt Wakeleys’s signature elements, from its orchestral rock structure, to a Carmina Burana-inspired choir, with Joe Satriani being the cherry on the cake, as we all know the all-time best-selling rock guitarist Joe’s superpowers when it comes to electrifying guitar solos.
The two deeply enjoyed working together. Kitt Wakeley shares: “What he came up with was pure Satriani magic,” while Satriani says:“Playing guitar on Kitt’s new album has been a fun, exhilarating experience, and a musical challenge, too. Kitt’s huge, cinematic sound makes each one of his songs a powerful sonic journey.”
