Jacklyn Smith, the longtime partner of actor and comedian D.C. Young Fly, has passed away. The mother of three young children was 32.
“Mommy Makeover” Procedure Performed by Renowned Surgeon
Jacklyn, affectionately known as “Ms. Jacky Oh,” passed away on June 1st while undergoing a cosmetic procedure known as a “Mommy Makeover.” The Mommy Makeover is a combination of procedures aimed at helping mothers regain their pre-pregnancy bodies or enhance their appearance. On average a Mommy Makeover in Miami costs $6,500 to $20,000.
The surgery was performed by Dr. Zachary Okhah, MD, a well-known and respected Miami-based surgeon. The specific details surrounding the procedure and the cause of Jacklyn Smith’s passing have not been disclosed.
Jacklyn Smith’s Family and Career
Jacklyn Smith was a devoted wife and mother of Nova, Nala, and Nehemiah and a realtor and businesswoman. She owned the J Nova Collection for Makeup and had a close friendship with B. Simone, who appeared as a guest on her podcast called “Know For Sure.”
D.C. Young Fly has not issued a statement as of the time. The actor and funnyman is best known as a cast member on the Wild N’ Out show, the 85 South Show as well as his acting roles in How High 2, House Party, and Almost Christmas. His Netflix show, Ghetto Legends will premiere on June 20th.

Jacky Oh was a loving friend & beloved colleague of the Wild N’ Out cast throughout five seasons. More importantly, she was a tremendous mother to three beautiful children. The BET Media Group extends our sincere condolences to the Smith family, D.C. Young Fly, B Simone, Nick Cannon, and all friends who loved and cared for Jacky Oh during this difficult time.”
While warning about the dangers of plastic surgery to her mental health, Blac Chyna recently reversed her plastic surgery procedures and said she was happy with her new appearance. Kanye West’s mom, Donda West, died as the result of a cosmetic surgery procedure back in November 2007.
