50 Cent is currently in his TV bag. Aside from the success gained from BMF, Power, and For Life, the New York rapper and mogul is now developing a new series set to premiere on Paramount+ titled — Vice City.
Rapper and business mogul 50 Cent is developing another television series under his G-Unit Film & Television production company. Vice City, set to premiere exclusively on Paramount+, will follow the lives of three former soldiers who have been dishonorably discharged in the mid-1980s.
Due to their involvement in the Iran-Contra Affair, and the political secret weapons scandal during the Ronald Regan administration, the three have little to no promising job opportunities.
After an encounter with a Colombian immigrant, they get caught in a life of crime and form a heist crew. The series is a joint effort made alongside established writers and producers Josh Peters and Darnell Metayer, who have worked on the live-action Transformers movies.
Also, Chad Stahelski, one-half of the directing duo behind the John Wick movies, has signed on as an executive producer and director.
