PREMIERE: Foz – Signs

PREMIERE: Foz – Signs

North London-based, Cairns-bred rapper Foz, (FKA Fozzey), has returned from a three year hiatus to deliver his slick new single Signs

After breaking through the local Australian scene and finding success in the early 2010’s, Foz took a step back, switching up his direction and location in what is a comeback that has been as highly anticipated as it is impressive.

Alongside the silky, auto-tune assisted new cut comes some vibrant visuals to match.

STREAM SIGNS & LEARN MORE ABOUT FOZ’S JOURNEY IN LONDON BELOW

Foz: “After coming to London with my ex one and a half years ago, I’ve networked my way up to where I’m at now. I found a music studio called “Foreign Studios” in Tottenham North London, run by a guy named Dun D and once he heard I was from Australia and heard the music. The whole “Foreign” concept made sense to him, so right now I’m a studio engineer here, which is a challenge because I just wanna do my own stuff but the bills have to get paid.

The song signs is gonna be my first proper release with a video in like 3.5 years, it’s different to what I used to do but I feel like it’s the way forward to bridge the gap. That’s really what I’m trying to do, be a pioneer for Australia on the global market. I want to blaze a path and bridge the gap and hopefully funnel all the work I’m doing here back home and shine some light on the undeniable talent back home.

I’ve got an EP on the way called “Australien” which I’ve almost finished and the name pretty much speaks for itself. I’ve got what I would call the best anti-suicide anthem on there, then I’ve got stuff like Signs which is more about the sauce and drip. So I can show people how versatile I really am.
